A bicycle is not a hobby. It's infrastructure.
Carbona was born from the frustration of riding 5,000 km a year and having no concrete data on what that means for the planet, the city, the company.
Why we exist
Clean mobility data exists — but it's trapped in HR spreadsheets, consulting estimates and reports full of vague figures.
Cyclists rode, cities grew, companies launched incentive programs — and no one could prove anything with audit-level rigor.
We built the missing ledger: every km from Strava becomes CO₂ calculated by a scientific factor, stored on blockchain and ready for any reporting standard.
Proof, not promise
None of our metrics are vague estimates. Everything is auditable: scientific factor, data source, blockchain hash.
Movement connects
The same km that enters the cyclist's diary enters the city dashboard and the industry's ESG report.
Bike as infrastructure
Not a lifestyle. Urban infrastructure — with Bike ID, certified workshops and data that drives public decisions.
How we got here
Initial idea: track bike km and calculate CO₂ avoided with auditable data.
First Cyclist App prototype. 50 users in Florianópolis.
Bike ID launch and Strava integration. 500 cyclists.
Workshop App + Enterprise Web. First ESG corporate client.
Cities Web. Pilot with Curitiba Dept. of Mobility.
14,218 cyclists · 23 cities · 312 workshops · 847t CO₂ verified.
